Yesterday the city of Austin, Texas became the largest in the country to commit to a veteran's preference hiring policy! At minimum, 20% of candidates interviewed for all jobs with the city will be current or prior US military. The link includes great quotes from veterans now at work for the city. Our sister division Orion International has an office there; it is great to see the city stepping up for veterans like this too!
