Military to Teachers in Philly

A partnership between the Navy and the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center has led to the first of hopefully many veteran Sailors landing a teaching career in the Philadelphia area.  The goal is to find Navy veterans with extensive backgrounds in science and math, and that certainly should not be a problem - those with nuclear backgrounds ("Nukes"), for instance, study everything from thermodynamics to nuclear physics to chemistry.  Great fit and great idea.
