After life as a military family, a husband and wife who volunteer to help servicemembers want no special credit, but their story here from Redstone Arsenal's Rocket is tremendously inspirational. Their lives are now filled with prime examples of helping veterans succeed in their military careers and their transition. The wife dedicates her life to volunteering for ACS. The husband, a retired Army SFC, now works for a local defense contractor that hosts a welcome event for future soldiers, spearheaded by he and his veteran co-workers. He ends the piece with words on hiring veterans:
"Employers of any stripe will hire a veteran. They know a person who has given to their country through service is someone who has the ability to be a leader."
