Pending Senate approval, Douglas Shulman will be the next commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, and has pledged to hire veterans, working toward a goal of 1,000 veteran hires put to him by Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa). The great thing is we already know how serious the IRS is about hiring military - they attend our events regularly! They have careers far beyond working with numbers, too - their Criminal Investigation branch employs duly sworn law enforcement officers. Give them a look - a great place to start is the Featured Employer link on militarystars.com. Have a great week!

I applied for a job with the IRS in Pensacola, FL and was not selected for it and I'm a Navy Retiree with 10pt preference.
