Help a Group in Support of Troops and Families

BlackAmericaWeb.com offers a tremendous variety of transition resources in this article.  Great military support organizations large and small, many new to me, are profiled - you can learn how to donate money so a military child can take music lessons, how to donate frequent flier miles to military families, how to volunteer at hospitals, and much, much more.  One organization, Business and Professional Women/USA, has created a program called Women Joining Forces which offers a free one-year membership to transitioning female veterans.  The group provides mentoring, networking, leadership and career support, with the goal of promoting the value of womens' military experience in the civilian workplace.  They, and many other featured causes, are looking for volunteers; please give them a look!
