MilitaryStars Founder Hal Fischer was publicly acknowledged recently on Steven Rothberg's excellent CollegeRecruiter.com blog. Hal pointed Mr. Rothberg's attention to a new policy implemented by Cornell University in the wake of so many of its students' love of Facebook.com. In no uncertain terms, the school wants students to be aware of how easy it is for an employer to find what they post on sites like this, and what that could mean for their future. I couldn't agree more - thinking a little bit about what you post about your freetime activities online isn't preventing you from having any fun, and if you still choose to do so, knowing just about anyone can access it, can that really be considered an invasion of privacy? No matter who you are, don't learn this lesson the hard way.
